[June Review] Rainbow Fun: 4 in 1 Clay Play, Bubble Bath, Soap, and Shampoo

Did you know that Lush has a 4 in 1 product that is a clay play, bubble bath, soap, and hair shampoo? It's called Rainbow Fun, and I just tried it for the first time and was blown away by how much fun it was.

About Rainbow Fun

In this post, I'm going to introduce you to Rainbow Fun, which you may not have heard of before. It's a Rush product that's great for kids because it's tactile play, and it's also practical because you can use it in soaps, bath bombs, shampoos, and more instead of just throwing it away after clay play.

I used it for the first time as a review product, and I'm thinking of repurchasing it when I'm done. I'm very happy with it!

Key ingredients include chamomile and lime for a relaxing herbal scent, vanilla for a refreshing cleanse and moisturized skin, and orange for a cleanse and healthy skin.

As the name suggests, this product comes in seven colors, and it feels and looks like the clay you'd find in a stationery store. Don't you think the colors are really pretty?

Playing with clay

I've played with the clay and it can be a little hard at first, but if you take a little bit off and play with it, it will slowly soften over time. I was worried that it would bubble when I kneaded it because it can be used as soap, but it doesn't bubble unless you touch it with wet hands or apply water pressure, so it's okay. It's not slippery.

We made all sorts of different shapes (fun for adults too).

I made flowers and leaves, a rainbow, and a sun.

I made planets, hearts, and fish.

I made a batch and cut the leftovers into small circles so I could take one with me on my travels. They say it takes about 1-2 colors per person to use as a bath bomb, so it's good to have that as a reference when making your own.

Real-world reviews

After playing with the clay, I was curious to see how well it lathered up, so I tested it out. All I had to do was hold it under the faucet and apply water pressure, and in no time at all, I had a rich lather.

It made a lot of bubbles and afterward, my sink looked like it was vomiting bubbles lol I laughed when I made it. It's hard to see in the picture, but it's fun that the color of the water changes depending on the color of the fizz. I love that it's an all-in-one product that can replace shampoo and soap after bathing. The faint scent that lingers after the shower is a bonus!

Rush's Rainbow Fun is so versatile, it's fun for the whole family. I think kids will especially love it. Try it out today!
