Have you tried Sunny Days, the iPad made by Rush?! It's not a tablet PC 😅 As the name suggests, it's an actual pad that you put on your eyes. There are quite a few people around me who complain of eye fatigue these days due to modern lifestyle and job characteristics. My job requires me to sit in front of a computer and stare at a monitor all day, so sometimes my eyes feel stiff and hot in the evening. Sunny Days is a cooling iPad made for people like me.
About Sunny Days
The cooling iPad, Sunny Days, must be refrigerated, preferably in the back of the fridge where temperature fluctuations are minimal. It's a single-use, non-reusable product that must be used within 21 days of manufacture. It contains ingredients that are important to keep fresh, right?
The main ingredients are wakame seaweed and aloe vera. Aloe is said to be the oldest healing plant in history. Lush sources their aloe from a Maasai women's organization in Kenya. (Ethical Buying at its best!!!)
And when you actually take it out, it smells amazing and has a beautiful color. It's because of the saffron ingredient. I think of saffron as a fabric softener, but it's the most expensive spice in the world. It's only harvested for two weeks out of the year. (Something so special...over my eyes...🫢)
Real-world reviews
I've tried it, and of course, it's very cold and frosty from the fridge. The consistency is like a thick jelly. It tears easily, so you have to be careful when handling it. The instructions are the same as any other heat pack. Place it on your eyes and let it rest for 10-15 minutes. After about 10 minutes, the heat in my eyes disappears and I feel very relaxed. My vision seems to have improved... (this is probably due to my mood 🤔)
Our next post will be on Beauty Sleep, which is a great companion product to this one. Beauty Sleep > Sunny Days > Honey Sleep - a sleep package!
And if you don't want to throw it away after one use, you can also use it on your heels or knees, where the skin is rough and dry. I've used it on my heels for extra rest, and I've never had softer feet 🥰 If your eyes are tired in the heat of summer, why not give them a break with Sunny Days?
