The second product reviewed in August for the 7th month of Gelush is Beauty Sleep. It's a wash-off pack that nourishes your face and body.
About Beauty Sleep
The main ingredients are red beans, sweet-smelling tonka, lavender, and honey, which help to soften skin. The moisturizing oils, rich herbs, and herbal infusions make for soft skin. It's infused with Golgers moisturizer (which I'm currently using and loving!).
It's basically a thick formula that doesn't flow when you put it on your face, but it's a bit thinner than Rush's other massage packs. Usually, Rush wash-off packs start to harden about 10 minutes after you put them on your face, but Beauty Sleep took a similar amount of time, and I didn't notice much change from the first application.
Real-world reviews
The instructions are the same as the other packs: apply to face, leave on for 5-10 minutes, then gently rinse off with lukewarm water. It's best to apply a thick layer that doesn't cover your skin and rinse it off before it dries completely. Like Mask of Magnificence, it doesn't feel cooling after applying, but the lavender scent is really strong, so I felt like I was in a flower garden. If you want to feel the cooling + soothing effect, put it in the refrigerator before using it~)
When you rinse it off, you can gently roll it on and massage it to exfoliate your skin. The granules aren't big, so it's hardly irritating. Especially when you massage it on your face, it's said to help improve circulation, reduce puffiness, and improve your complexion. I've only used the Beauty Sleep once, and my skin is moisturized and my redness has calmed down a lot. It's hydrating enough that I don't need to apply anything, but I personally like the feeling of refining my skin texture with the tea tree.
The lingering scent of lavender reminds me of why they named it Beauty Sleep - it's a great way to take care of yourself before bed and wake up smelling sweet and floral...👍🏻 I have a feeling this is going to be one of my favorite Rush masks.
