Long time no see

마음이 머무는 곳

hello. How have you been? It's been a while since I've written a post, and this is my first post in WordPress.

I didn't go to work today because it's a public holiday, so I sat in front of my computer all day trying to make my blog look better, but when I look at the result, there's still a lot I don't like about it. WordPress is hard, but I'm sure I'll get the hang of it soon.

Why I started with WordPress

I've been blogging on Tstory for a few years now, and I've published about 300 posts and earned some AdSense revenue, which isn't a lot, but due to recent policy changes, I've been struggling to run my blog. That's when I started to think about platform dependency, and I decided to create my own site, so I don't have to rely on the system they've built.

The truth is, WordPress is hard for me. From moving domains to installing plugins... it's all new to me, and it takes courage to let go of what you've grown accustomed to and start something new. But once this blog is up and running, I think I'll feel like I really have a presence online, and I can't wait for that moment to come.

What I want to do here in the future

Say hello

My blog is called "Where the mind dwells". I named it that way because I want you to take a break from your busy, hectic life, your worries and concerns, big and small, and your hatred for someone. For me, this place will be like a hideaway that allows me to be extraordinary for a while. Writing down the little things and asking myself how I'm doing, that's why this blog exists.

Kids' journals & artwork

Sometimes kids say and do things that adults would never have imagined, and whenever I find such adorable moments, I write them down in a notebook or take a picture of them. Now that my kids are growing up so fast, I'm going to blog about the cute things they do that I can't keep to myself.

Parenting information

There are many moments in raising children when I wonder, "What do I do in these situations?" Even now that my daughters are both in elementary school, I still feel like I'm not good enough as a mom. I probably always will, because I'm a first-time mom myself.

So, I've always wanted to start a blog to organize information related to pregnancy, birth, and parenting... and now seems like the right time. I'm going to share a little bit of what I've learned as I've grown, what I've seen and heard from others, and what I've picked up from books and the internet.

Share your hobbies

I'm a hobbyist. I have a background as a calligrapher and an ex-printmaker, and I have a variety of hobbies including flower arranging, painting, leatherwork, reading, and watching movies. I would like to share my hobbies in a small way and get some feedback, preferably focusing more on calligraphy.
